**Job Description**
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Associate I to join a growing, technology-focused, and service-oriented team. The Manufacturing Associate I will produce standard and/or custom medical devices to meet customer requirements by following standard work instructions and company policies while manufacturing products in a team environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow department SOPs and work instructions, adhering to customer and company standards for manufacturing products.
+ Properly operate and maintain equipment as needed by following work instructions.
+ Visually inspect product quality and escalate issues as necessary.
+ Identify and recommend disposition of defective items for rework or scrap.
+ Understand the product manufacturing process from initial steps through final inspection.
+ Complete all required documentation and training.
+ Maintain a safe and clean work area, wear appropriate PPE, and adhere to safety standards.
+ Cross-train in one or more areas of manufacturing.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related field in a controlled environment.
+ Ability to read and understand SOPs.
+ Good manual dexterity and ability to use basic hand tools, working with very small parts.
+ Reliability and good attendance.
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

+ Coachable and excited to learn new skills.

**Work Environment**
This position is located in San Diego, CA. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. The work environment includes various departments such as SLM, Zirconia Milling, Clear Aligners, Quality Inspection, Packaging Inspection, Shipping Clerk, Inventory Control, and Receiving Clerk, with some departments being more industrial in nature.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25
