Manufacturing Associate
Actively Screening for a Manufacturing Associate to join pharmaceutical laboratory! Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Associate who will be responsible for preparing media and buffer solutions, operating Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place systems, assembling and operating filtration systems, and monitoring and recording critical process parameters. The ideal candidate will complete all relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines, perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment, and assist in troubleshooting process problems. The role involves a lot of cleaning to maintain compliance with GMP standards, including scrubbing floors and equipment daily. Responsibilities + Prepare media and buffer solutions. + Operate Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place systems. + Assemble and operate filtration systems. + Operate general production equipment such as pH and conductivity meters, autoclave, portable mixers, etc. + Monitor and record critical process parameters. + Complete all relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines. + Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment. + Perform sampling using aseptic techniques. + Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams. + Receive and distribute supplies into production areas as necessary. + Train and mentor other team members. + Assist in troubleshooting process problems and responding to alarms. + May perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Experience working in a GMP environment for at least 6 months. + Previous experience or understanding of working in a cleanroom. + High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of related experience in clean room, manufacturing, or lab. + Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, aseptic techniques, machine operation, pH meter, autoclave, GDP, and sampling. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of related experience or higher with no prior experience required. + Must be able to carry up to 25 lbs, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull up to 100 lbs with assistance. + Must be able to stand for extended periods over an 8 or 12-hour shift. + Ability to climb ladders and stairs while wearing special gowning. + May require bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and squatting motions. + Must be able to work in controlled environments requiring special gowning. + No make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, or artificial fingernails in the manufacturing environment. + Will work in cold, wet environments and may require immunization before performing work. + Must be able to work multiple shifts including weekends and overtime as required. + May be required to work in confined areas and some clean room and cool/hot storage conditions. Work Environment You will work in a clean room environment with a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The schedule alternates every two weeks. You must gown up and down each time you enter the manufacturing area. The work environment requires adherence to strict gowning requirements and involves working in cold, wet conditions. The role involves significant physical activity, including standing for long periods, lifting, and climbing. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
