Responsibilities and Duties

This position is responsible for manufacturing processes such as sawing operations, columns, truss building, material handling, fork truck operation, loading trucks, hardware, receiving and various other operations.

Assemble Trusses and Gables using hammer and tape measureOperate Radial Arm SawManually stack wood as it comes off of the machineAssist with finger joiner-tape measure and stackProperly package and handle incoming/outgoing ordersResponsible for the performing daily cycle counts of various types of inventoryTracking past due backorders verses incoming materialUnload material and handle material from truck with forklift as needed and requiredWork in various areas of the plant based on business needsMaintain clean work areas

Qualifications

Ability to accurately read a tape measureAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the dayFrequent standing/walking/stooping/turning while carrying materialsAbility to operate a forklift is a plusStrong organizational skillsEffective communication skillsAttention to detailBasic computer skillsMust be a team player

Salary Range

$22.00 to $23.50 an hour

This represents a good faith estimate of the current salary range based on the level and requirements of the role. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on individual qualifications including, but not limited to relevant job knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. An employee may be eligible for additional premium pay.
