Position: Manufacturing Associate (Glass Experience Required) Location: 2940 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71118 Wage: Starting at $14.00 - $15.00 (Dependent on Experience) with 90 Day Evaluation & Pay Rate Change Department: Manufacturing/Production Operations Summary Glaz-Tech is looking for Glass Fabricator/Material Handler, Glass Catcher (End of Furnace) and Muntin Bar Specialist at our Shreveport, LA location. We are seeking responsible, adaptable and self-driven individuals looking to grow with us in the manufacturing industry. The glass fabricator/material handler, Glass Catcher (End of Furnace) and Muntin Bar Specialist will use a variety of tools, machinery, and protective gear to ensure product is produced safely and to the highest quality. Responsibilities may include: + Use of specialized machinery and hand tools + Organization and production of various glass products + Assisting multiple departments as needed Requirements: + Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds + Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day + Must have reliable transportation to and from work + Ability to communicate in English + Willingness to learn new skills and grow as an employee + Successfully pass pre-employment Drug Screen Qualifications: + Must be 18 years or older + High School Diploma or equivalent + Authorized to work in the US What is Glaz-Tech Industries?
