Job Function:

Operational involvement in the processing of Industry Standard x86 Servers, Storage Solutions, and Networking equipmentProvides technical support to data sanitisation and test processesDetermines processing requirements based on established guidelinesEnsures operational efficiency within the business processes whilst maintaining the highest level of quality

Responsibilities and Duties:

Execute both manual and automated build and test processes for customer hardware ordersEnsure that order processing meets or exceeds business agreed performance levelsAccurately maintain processing recordsContribute to the definition, development and documentation of test processes as business needs presentContinuous personal professional development to pace evolving technology challengesProvide L2 support for the inbound business sanitization and test processesEscalate/liaise with engineering on issues affecting productionAccurately communicate the status of orders within the out-bound final configuration and test processesThe retest and analysis of customer returns

Preferred knowledge and skills required:

Minimum of an HND in an Electronic or Computing related discipline5+ years' experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing or service environmentDemonstrated ability to work as a team memberStrong technical knowledge of Networking and storage systems and their architecturesAbility to apply analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate challenges, statuses, analysis results, and appropriate solutions where possible

Other beneficial knowledge and skills:

Experience with Industry Standard or Business Critical ServersExperience with HPE Procurve, HPE Aruba and CISCO networking;  HP MSA, HP EVA, HP XP, HP MSA and HPE 3PAR Storage SolutionsExperience of any of the following operating environments – Linux, HP-UX or OpenVMSScripting ability to aid task simplification and automation
