The Manufacturing Investment Analyst plays a key role within the MFG Finance team. The candidate will have to manage the accurate execution of Operations Investment Projects, he/she will need to ensure project approval, timeous asset capitalization, upkeep of the asset register, tagging, annual asset verification and asset disposals aligned to the Internal guidelines/processes. The candidate will need to have very good interpersonal skills and build strong working relationships across skill teams. The candidate will also need to be proactive in providing financial solutions, process improvements to assist operations and finance modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities
1. Ensure All Production Areas adhere to:
- Project authorization, track actual spending and compliance when raising projects
- Contact and work with respective areas to explain the asset status, asset tagging progress and the accurate capitalization of assets
- Co-ordinate with the respective areas on all asset audits to ensure compliance with the guidelines associated with Government Grants, outside auditors and Ford FM’s
- Guide the Operations in the asset tagging process to ensure FM compliance and maintain a complete asset register
- Ensure that areas follow the Asset Disposal process and completeness when raising request with GAM, align with the scrap vendor on invoicing and timing of asset removal
- Support the Operating team on the implementation and training of I-ERP project control interface (migration from PCAM to SAP-S4)
2. Ensure Non-Manufacturing (NSC) areas complete non-production PAR’s, checklist and track actual spend.
3. Validate Forecast / Business Plan input is aligned to physicals and manages the consolidation of current year forecasts for VO and PTO.
4. Ensure timely reporting into Regional/Global Manufacturing Finance teams
5. Work closely with the FV-A Finance team on all request/submissions related to Amarok and process monthly Amarok CAPEX billings
6. Support management and operations in any ad hoc finance related requests
7. Identify opportunities to simplify processes and implement business goals
8. Support all Internal Control / MCRP / AFR request
