Customer Service Associate - Manufacturing
Location: Charlotte, NC (28273)
Pay: $20 - $22/hour DOE
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 5 PM; Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Associate to support our manufacturing operations. This is not a call center role but a highly analytical customer service position focused on problem-solving, order management, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with the supply chain team and dedicated customer accounts to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve order discrepancies by analyzing data and identifying errors.Utilize AS400 (or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel extensively for reporting and analysis.Monitor customer inventory levels and proactively ensure stock availability based on past order trends.Communicate primarily via email (90%) to manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates.Collaborate with managers and fellow CSRs in an open office environment to support customer needs.Adapt quickly to new systems and processes, demonstrating self-motivation and problem-solving skills.Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing customer service role or supply chain support preferred.Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and ERP systems.Exceptional written communication skills for professional email correspondence.Analytical mindset with the ability to assess past order activity and forecast future needs.Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
