Manufacturing Development Program (multiple locations)Join our 15-month Manufacturing Development Program at one of our industry leading beverage manufacturing plants to put yourself on the path to leadership at Niagara.We’ll support you from day one with a customized rotation plan to grow you into a leader or technical expert. You’ll rotate through the Production, Maintenance and Warehouse departments, with options to rotate through Operations, Engineering, Human Resources or Quality Assurance.
Make a lasting impact on the business by getting hands-on on the production floor and working on high-impact projects with the leadership team. You’ll build relationships with other program participants and Team Members starting with the Program Conference in Southern California and by traveling to other plants during the program. Your supervisor rotation will give you experience leading a team to hit shift goals and overcome challenges while contributing to continuous improvement within the plant. At the end of your program, you’ll be ready to take on the next adventure in your Niagara journey managing people, processes or projects in one of our plants nationwide. Willingness to relocate to any other Niagara plant for your next role is a requirement of this unique leadership development experience.
Essential Functions
During these 15 months, we will focus on your career development through a combination of on-the-job training, professional development, customized training and support. Specific examples include:
Formalized professional skills training including Niagara culture, self-awareness, and leadership development
Ongoing support from Niagara Bottling’s leadership, MDP alumni, and a dedicated advisor from the Talent Development team
Participation in Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt training and projects
6 months of experience leading a shift in a manufacturing environment
Minimum of 3 weeks travel to other plant locations
Work in all aspects of manufacturing and complete cross-departmental projects
Multiple opportunities to present experiences, and project outcomes to local and regional leadership
Attend department/manager meetings and action plan based on feedback
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
