**Where the Chemistry Happens…**
BASF's Diverse Leaders Program (DLP) provides highly motivated, mobile-minded MBA graduates an opportunity to enhance their leadership expertise and continue on an executive development path through coaching & mentorship and strategic, immersive learning experiences. Participants will contribute to real-world assignments across different US site locations. They will explore a range of dynamic career options, each of which offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to BASF’s business and customers. In addition to expanding their knowledge and skill sets, participants will gain valuable insight into their own capabilities, strengths, and passions. Our program also provides an immersive introduction to BASF's culture and values, ensuring that participants are well-equipped to excel in their future roles.
We are seeking individuals who possess a wealth of experience in Technical and Manufacturing fields. Participants will be responsible for providing technical and administrative guidance to various departments, including operations, asset management, maintenance, and the overall business to optimize resources and achieve production objectives. They will establish tactical plant goals to ensure safe and reliable plant operations with a continuous improvement mindset.
**Program Summary:**
+ BASF’s Diverse Leaders Program is a leadership program consisting of one or two 1-year assignments in various areas within the organization.
+ This program is targeted towards traditionally underrepresented cultural groups including, but not limited to, participants of African American, Asian, Latino/Hispanic, Native American, and/or Pacific Islander descent.
+ Your ability to be mobile is critical as locations of assignments in this program include, but are not limited to, New Jersey, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, and Louisiana.
+ You will gain hands-on experience in global business topics and deliver strategic impact through P&L exposure/responsibility with project responsibilities from strategy through implementation.
+ Upon completion of the program, you will participate in a competitive selection process for a full-time role within the broader organization providing significant responsibilities that align with your skills and ensure your continued success.
+ Leveraging your leadership capabilities and project management experience, you will manage multiple stakeholders and partner across the organization to ensure business growth, while providing visibility to senior leaders throughout the company.
+ Program start dates are June and August 2025.

**Formula for Success...**
+ MBA graduates pursuing a career in General Management with an interest in the Manufacturing/Chemical industry
+ MBA graduation date must fall between May 2021- August 2025
+ Minimum of 7 years' & maximum of 10 years' work experience
+ BS or relevant experience in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related disciplines highly preferred
+ Prior Manufacturing/Chemical industry experience required
+ Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
+ Commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S. during and upon placement from the program. All assignments are in-person/hybrid.
+ Demonstrated previous leadership experience & academic achievement
+ Strong project management experience
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Strong financial acumen
+ International exposure or experience a plus
