Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineer, Staff for the Precision Fires Manufacturing Engineering team in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for ensuring new designs are producible and meet current scoped requirements for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) system.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting both development and production activities for the PrSM system. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading Production Line Validations, supplier visits, and internal manufacturing shop support
• Coordinating Make or Buy efforts and managing tooling and hardware for MFC Mechanical/Electrical hardware
• Conducting Engineering Release reviews for new and revised design requirements
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - A final secret security clearance is required for consideration.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline
• Current Active Secret Clearance
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Ability to travel domestic and/or internationally
• Experience in a manufacturing or production operations environment
Desired Skills:
• Experience in design for manufacturing
• Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Process improvement experience
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
• Demonstrated competency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
• SAP Experience
• Cost / Schedule / Budget Responsibility
• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
• Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM) experience
• Effective Communication Skills: Verbal, Listening, Technical Writing
• Ability to effectively present technical information to non technical people
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration and developing enduring business relationships
• Leadership experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
