Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer I in Jacksonville, Florida who will be responsible for developing, documenting, and improving manufacturing processes for large scale composite parts.  You will be an integral part of a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) to drive production-based results (part quality, on-time delivery, etc.) within the Propulsion Value Stream. This role is onsite, in Jacksonville, Florida. 

What You Will Do:

You will provide manufacturing support and technical guidance for large composite parts.You will improve manufacturing work instructions, including document configuration.You will perform hands-on work supporting part fabrication, evaluation, and testing as needed.You will work with floor supervisors, quality assurance, and technicians to achieve customer and product satisfaction.

What You Will Learn:

Will learn hands-on composite and urethane manufacturing processes.Will learn how to read and understand manufacturing documents and engineering drawings.You will learn how to work as a key member of a Integrated Product Team (IPT), supporting the technical aspects of manufacturing.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).Experience using 2D and 3D CAD software.Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
