Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will work on an engineering team which provides support and development of final assembly processes with a focus on material flow processes and equipment.
This manufacturing engineering role will provide engineering support, develop, and improve processes, plus work on short or long duration engineering projects including implementation of high impact, automated systems. This individual will also work closely with other functional groups and sites with a focus on driving innovative solutions to better serve our internal and external customers!
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provide production support for Material Flow areas Participate and/or lead high-impact automation projects related to Material Flow Design and optimize material flow processes to establish efficient warehouse storage, delivery to production lines, receiving raw goods, and shipping finished goods. Interact on a regular basis with other functional groups and customers or vendors on technical and/or administrative matters Using data and analytics to make business decisions Work with operations, supply chain, planning and other engineering departments to develop site logistics and material storage plans. Be part of a rotation providing on-call support as necessary. Who You Are:You anticipate the impact of emerging technologies and make necessary adjustments. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering 0-2 years of relevant experience Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: ABET-accredited engineering degree Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Degree Previous manufacturing and warehousing experience Previous experience with robotic process automation tools Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma processes Experience with Oracle ERP and WMS systems Experience with automation technologies, such as autonomous mobile robots, automated guided vehicles, scan tunnels, automated storage and retrieval systems

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $82,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
