Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in winding processes for electric motors to optimize production, ensure quality, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline; experience in lieu of education considered
4-5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing engineering or similar capacity
Familiarity with winding techniques, equipment, materials, and best practices
Experience with electric motors preferred
Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred
Competence in modeling software such as AutoCAD
Preferred Skills:
Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience helpful
Strong working knowledge of office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities:
Lead efforts to optimize winding processes to improve efficiency and product quality
Oversee maintenance of winding equipment to minimize downtime and extend lifespan
Evaluate and propose improvements for winding process performance
Collaborate with R&D during new product introduction to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness
Implement quality control measures throughout the winding process
Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
Identify and resolve issues related to winding processes promptly
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits
Pay Details: $27.00 to $36.00 per hour
