Manufacturing Engineer
Manufacturing Engineer: Develop and maintain automation equipment and processes in a production environment Minimum AS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering Minimum 2 years experience supporting and designing automated systems Minimum 2 years experience in a production and/or assembly environment Excellent computer skills, including programming and software development Equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to explain complex ideas to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders Knowledge and experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma Desired knowledge of Project Management, Risk Assessment, and Design of Experiments Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain clear documentation of automation equipment and processes Assist in procurement and installation of equipment Communicate and facilitate recommendations and design changes Design fixtures and tooling; evaluate and troubleshoot product and process issues Perform special assignments as requested Determine problem resolutions and implement improvements Evaluate manufacturing processes and workflows for improvement opportunities Develop and implement cost-saving measures and quality control systems Ensure manufacturing processes and equipment meet capability and capacity requirements Research and develop new processes, equipment, and product introductions Ensure compliance with safety standards Participate in cross-functional meetings for collaboration
