Job Description
Accratronics is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer. This position will report to the General Manager and will be located in Burbank, CA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Principal duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for developing and documenting new processes & products while improving present production processes.
Supports multiple departments including Engineering, Quality and Production in the development of Technical Data Packages, product testing requirements and overall design for manufacturability.
Support production and supplier selection/development.
Support on the creation of preventative maintenance program.
Play a lead role in continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles and kaizen to deliver breakthrough results.
Work alone and with a cross functional team to troubleshoot problems / failure analysis and identify & implement solutions.
Responsible for the identification & selection of new process equipment.
Lead significant projects such as construction and start-up of new work cells.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a BS/MS in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
Related engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, Relational Databases, Object Oriented Programming, and System Design and Architecture.
Understanding of machine communication protocols, specifically RS-232 and OPC as well as data exchange formats such as XML.
CAD, 3-D modeling, assembly creation, drawings and GD&T.
Project management skills with the ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
Experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing practices.
Enterprise/Manufacturing Resource Planning (ERP/MRP) systems.
MS Office– Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Familiar with and able to work in MS Project.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
