Manufacturing Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Job Description + Plan production sequences based on print specifications. The ideal applicant will have a programming and machining experience, with 3+ years of Mastercam experience preferred. + Responsible for keeping all operation sheets updated and correct. + Design production tooling and fixtures needed to support CNC lathe and mill machining operations using Solidworks (3+ years). + Interface with purchasing, machine operators, and the quality department to improve productivity, work quality, and cost management. + Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple ongoing projects. + Maintain a working knowledge of manufacturing processes (mill, lathe, grinding), equipment, and tooling. + Be proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen Tools. + Learn the ERP system to create work orders and improve overall processes and related issues. + Ensure proper tools are used and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Sun Valley, California. Work Environment Clean shop environment, with 50% of the time spent on the floor with machinists. Collaboration with engineering, machinists (30), quality, and the president. Work hours are 7-4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, and 7-11 am on Friday.
