What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for performing in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions.
• Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence.
• Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence.
• Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement.
• Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
This position typically requires 2 years of professional experience

This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US citizen
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or STEM field or equivalent experience/combined education
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools and machines.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite
Desired Skills:
Proficient with MS Office suite
Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design
Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes
Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO or Solid Works
Knowledgeable of engineering materials
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Clearance Level: None

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

You will be a Manufacturing Engineer for the Camden Operations team. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures, and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies.
