Job Description
We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in the cable assembly and harnessing product areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed manufacturing work instructions for building mechanical assemblies, developing process improvements, and collaborating with the design engineering team to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce costs. This role will involve hands-on work on the production floor with operators and creating CAD drawings in SolidWorks for tooling and various products.
ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed manufacturing work instructions for the build of mechanical assemblies.Develop process improvements and best practices for mechanical assemblies.Collaborate with the design engineering team to provide input on manufacturing processes and potential cost reduction.Work on the production floor with operators to ensure quality and efficiency.Create CAD drawings in SolidWorks for tooling and various products.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.Proficiency in SolidWorks design.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in manufacturing engineering for the aerospace sector.Knowledge of work instructions and design principles.Work Environment
