Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in investment casting and experience in regulated environments like Medical Device, Automotive, or Aerospace.
Job Requirements:
B.S. in Engineering
Minimum 3 years as an Investment Casting Engineer in a foundry
Experience in Medical Device or other regulated environments
Proficient with GD&T and interpreting technical drawings (ASME Y1
4.5M)
Ability to interpret CMM reports
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with PFMEA/DFMEA, Gage R&R, TMV, Risk Assessments, Control Plans
Experience with equipment validations (IQ, OQ & PQ)
Proficiency in Solid Modelling (NX/Unigraphics, Solid Works, Pro-E) and Simulation software (Solidification, FEA, Mold Flow, CFM)
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing; Green or Black Belt Six Sigma
Experience with additive manufacturing (3D Printing) and statistical analysis (MiniTab)
Experience using ceramic cores in the investment casting process
6 axis or equivalent robot operation/programming experience
Job Responsibilities:
Lead new casting product launch from feasibility through validation and commercial launch
Design wax pattern tools/molds
Manage projects effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
