Job Description
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the product development department during the product development phase. Your role involves troubleshooting electrical and electronic circuits down to the component level, providing technical assistance in testing and checking electronic components, verifying defects, and writing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs). Additionally, you will design and implement production test equipment, and analyze and update existing test procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with the product development department during product development.
+ Troubleshoot electrical and electronic circuits to the component level.
+ Provide technical assistance in testing and checking electronic components.
+ Verify defects and write Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
+ Design and implement production test equipment.
+ Analyze and update existing test procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
+ Experience working in a process manufacturing environment.
+ Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen).
+ Ability to design electronic test fixtures for production testing.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and providing technical assistance.
+ Familiarity with FDA GMP and ISO standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with ISO 13485 and Six Sigma methodologies.
Work Environment
The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. There may be exposure to chemical odors from process materials used in the plant. This role requires working onsite five days a week.
