Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Redmond, WA Shift: 4:00pm- 12:30am OR 2:00pm-10:00pm and Weekends Responsibilities + Build, test, qualify, and produce next-generation spacecraft. + Utilize innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology to solve manufacturing and engineering problems. + Act as a lynchpin between production, development, tooling, supply chain, and quality teams. + Lead production on the assembly line and new production introduction. + Provide first-line support for technical challenges to the production team. + Respond to, triage, and solve product issues that slow down factory throughput. + Stand up new processes, equipment, and assembly lines to support build ramp. + Make data-driven decisions at each step in the process. Essential Skills + Familiarity with Low Rate Manufacturing Environments & New Product Introduction + Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices & principles + Experience with Root Cause Analysis Techniques such as Fishbone, Fault Tree, DMAIC, etc. + Strong analytical skills + Strong communication and writing skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with SAP or similar ERP software + Experience with NX Unigraphics or similar CAD software + Experience with Aerospace &/or Optical Manufacturing + Experience with Python Programming Language + Experience with Optical System Design & Optical Metrology + Experience with Fiber Optic Systems + Experience with Statistical Analysis Software such as Minitab Compensation: $50-60/hr We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
