Manufacturing Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description The Manufacturing Engineer will support the New Product Introduction (NPI) department with new launches by validating their manufacturability. The role involves designing fixtures and gauges from concept to implementation and creating Bill of Materials (BOMs) to accurately plan and budget project costs. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineer will utilize MS Word to create complex process documents from an engineering perspective and collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional departments. Responsibilities + Design fixtures and gauges from concept to implementation + Create Bill of Materials (BOMs) to accurately plan and budget project costs + Utilize MS Word to create complex process documents with proper engineering formatting + Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional departments Essential Skills + 3+ years of manufacturing or mechanical engineering experience + Advanced proficiency in Solidworks and MS Word + Ability to design fixtures and gauges from concept to implementation + Basic machining background + Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in the aerospace industry supporting major aircraft engine OEMs (e.g., GE, Rolls Royce, Pratt and Whitney) + Experience working with supporting departments such as welding, brazing, quality, and machining (lathe) + EDM experience Work Environment The work environment consists of both office and machining manufacturing floor settings, with a 50/50 split. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, during the 1st shift.
