As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and executing cutting-edge engineering processes that elevate our operations. If you’re ready to take ownership of transformative projects and make a tangible difference, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of manufacturing. **How you will make an impact** **Process Innovation and Efficiency:** + **Process Development & Optimization** : Develop and optimize the electronic assembly process by innovatively using new tools, processes, and efficiency improvements. + **Technology Evaluation** : Evaluate new technologies, materials, and components that enhance the assembly process or product quality. + **Design for Manufacturability** : Provide input during the design phase to ensure products are designed for ease of assembly and cost-effective production. + **Continuous Improvement** Drive improvement to existing processes that reduce cost, risk, and waste **Technical Support and Equipment Management:** + **Equipment Maintenance** : Manage the installation, calibration, process control, and preventive maintenance of assembly equipment, including SMT machines, wave soldering machines, spray coating machines, reflow ovens, and inspection + **Problem Solving & Support** : Provide technical support to the production team, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to safety, quality, assembly, and process defects. + **Prototyping & Design Validation** : Define and oversee prototypes of new electronic products or systems to validate design concepts and functionality. **Collaboration and Project Leadership:** + **Project Management:** Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and timely completion. + **Cross-Functional Collaboration** : Work with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and supply chain, to bring innovative products from concept to production. + **Project Leadership** : Lead initiatives aimed at improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost savings, using ITW Toolbox principles to achieve business objectives. + **Communication** : Demonstrate effective communication at all organizational levels, providing progress updates on projects, identifying barriers, and recommending solutions. **What you need to do to be successful in this role:** + **Self-Accountability:** Demonstrate a positive attitude, high motivation, and a keen sense of personal accountability. + **Proven project management skills** : a drive to learn and continuously improve. Demonstrates strong initiative and consistent follow-through in all areas of responsibility **Minimum Qualifications:** + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field. + **Experience:** 3+ years of professional work experience in an engineering capacity, including internships. + Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD is desirable.
