THE WORK
- Provide manufacturing engineering support for the assigned functional area – material dispensing and product cleaning.
- Implement and maintain complicated manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and maintain process instructions, disposition nonconformances, support root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
- Take manufacturing engineering responsibility for actions assigned by Operational Excellence teams.
- Research and implement Engineering Change Requests into both in and out of production products that are returned by the field sites or customers.
- Interface with technical counterparts in other organizations both within and outside RMS Clearwater Operations.

You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of adhesive, gasket, wash, and/or coating dispensing equipment, processes, and lean manufacturing techniques.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
• Experience using Microsoft office software applications including MS Word, Project, Excel and Power Point.
• Willingness to work overtime and during off-days as required to support production operations.
• Required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, or over thresholds; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to tighten, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms potentially inside of manufacturing equipment or deliverable product; manipulate manufacturing fixtures, cables and interfaces. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
• Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
• Familiarity with industry specifications IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) such as Solumina and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool such as SAP.
• Experience validating, updating, and training others on process documents such as Standard Operating Documents (SODs)
• Automation Troubleshooting experience.
• Experience/familiarity conducting Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Experience/familiarity with basics of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Proven ability to effectively communicate through written and oral means, demonstrated ability to work with co-workers and customers from diverse backgrounds, and to multitask by handling multiple assignments in parallel.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
