Manufacturing Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and support documentation and process control efforts. You will spend approximately 60% of your time on the floor and 40% in the office handling documentation tasks. Responsibilities + Support documentation and process control efforts. + Spend 60% of the time on the manufacturing floor and 40% in the office. + Create and maintain assembly work instructions. + Document time studies and determine appropriate standards. + Identify and establish quality standards. + Design workspace layouts to optimize efficiency. + Communicate effectively with the team on the floor. Essential Skills + 1+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering. + Experience with assembly work instructions. + Experience documenting time studies and determining standards. + Experience in identifying quality standards. + Strong communication skills. + LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in workspace design. + Experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience with sheet metal and electromechanical equipment. Work Environment This role operates in a true manufacturing environment, which can be hot during the summers. The position requires spending a significant amount of time on the floor.
