Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description The Manufacturing Engineer leads the development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes. • Design and implement manufacturing processes that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet quality standards. • Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and waste reduction. • Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability of new products. • Hands-on process design, development, validation, and manufacturing transfer. • Develop test methods and reports. • Release equipment installation and operation qualifications. • Collaborate with engineering to develop, document, and build prototypes, tooling, and fixtures to produce vascular medical devices according to design, quality specifications, and budget. Must Have 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within a regulated environment- preferably medical device or aerospace Knowledge of medical device testing and FDA requirements Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and manufacturing tools. Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principle Project Management skills Nice to Have Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field Knowledge of manufacturing methods for vascular catheter systems Lean manufacturing training and experience preferred Familiarity with statistical process control and metrology Six Sigma methodologies certification Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $53.00 • Medical, dental & vision• Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital• 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available• Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)• Short and long-term disability• Health Spending Account (HSA)• Transportation benefits• Employee Assistance Program• Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Cleveland,OH.
