Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and support documentation and process control efforts. You will spend approximately 60% of your time on the floor and 40% in the office handling documentation tasks.
ResponsibilitiesSupport documentation and process control efforts.Spend 60% of the time on the manufacturing floor and 40% in the office.Create and maintain assembly work instructions.Document time studies and determine appropriate standards.Identify and establish quality standards.Design workspace layouts to optimize efficiency.Communicate effectively with the team on the floor.Essential Skills1+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.Experience with assembly work instructions.Experience documenting time studies and determining standards.Experience in identifying quality standards.Strong communication skills.LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in workspace design.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience with sheet metal and electromechanical equipment.Work Environment
This role operates in a true manufacturing environment, which can be hot during the summers. The position requires spending a significant amount of time on the floor. Our company is growing rapidly, transitioning from a startup mode to a large corporation, offering exciting growth opportunities.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
