Job Description: We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and assist in executing process improvements and troubleshooting processes to increase production efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will also focus on the procurement and installation of new capital equipment and calculate the ROI associated with these purchases.
Responsibilities:
Identify potential productivity improvement opportunities in yield, direct labor utilization, and overhead cost reduction.Lead continuous improvement projects from start to finish.Establish and implement processes, tooling, equipment, and quality control methods using Lean Manufacturing principles.Write detailed operator Standardized Work instructions to ensure long-term sustainability of productivity projects.Assist in the Operator Training Process related to Standardized Work.Provide technical support for plant layout, equipment purchase, equipment upgrades, and feasibility studies.Manage the disposition of non-conforming products.Conduct cost/benefit/risk analysis as required.Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products, including goal setting, team training, and result evaluation.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a Lean organization.Hands-on management style with strong analytical skills.Ability to work with minimal direct supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Flexible, adaptable, and willing to seek out necessary changes to move the business forward.Additional Skills & Qualifications:

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00
