Under close supervision, assists in the fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical machines, equipment, and tools. Inspects that all equipment is in accordance with the quality and safety standards. Learning role with 1 to 2 years of experience.

What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support to ensure all manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes drive safety, quality, and productivity costs and standards that meet and exceed company targets. You will:

Assist Operations and Maintenance departments to improve equipment reliability through preventative maintenance plans, capital project planning and implementation, equipment modifications, and upgrades.

Support Continuous Improvement initiatives by assisting with process improvements, lean manufacturing campaigns, Safety, and various continuous improvement projects as needed.

Provide design and analysis of existing machinery for real-time equipment repair and productivity/safety continuous improvement.

Prepare design sketches, layouts, and schematics.

Develop cost estimates for projects and provide data for financial analysis.

Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD or Inventor CAD packages and direct the work of maintenance technicians as required.

Develop and monitor control systems and participate in the Safety Committee.

What You'll Need

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical technology engineering with 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of 2D and 3D AutoCAD software and the ability to learn machine operations.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and compliance with Company policies.

Well-developed time management, interpersonal, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to multi-task and demonstrate leadership potential through direct supervisory or team leadership experience.

What We Offer

Competitive Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
