Manufacturing Engineer

Position Description:

Constraint Management, Factory Information System and IIOT Monitoring Implementation, Act as liaison with Controls group to coordinate all controls and FIS updates • Coordinate and manage updates to FIS extended properties for New Model Programs • Ensure FIS is aligned with each plant's simulation model. • Global FIS planning & costing support and coaching for other regions • Review and approve ACRs for FIS Applications • Review and approve all FIS pilots (reports, versions, etc.) • Lead quarterly FIS reviews with N.A. Plant ME Managers and FIS Administrators to share Specification changes, FIS Strategies, and collect plant feedback • Contribute and support the L2, L3, & FIS Strategy & Governance Meetings to provide assessment, needs, and wants for Final Assembly Engineering

Skills Required:

Constraint Management o Support all Executive Constraint Management Meetings o Director of Manufacturing (DOM) Constraint Management Reviews o POP Committee o Roll-out new versions to DOMs and Plant Personnel o Assist plants with developing & interpreting Executive Throughput Packages o Review plant Executive Throughput Packages during bi-weekly FAE Constraint Review o 404 Throughput Status o Constraint #1 Action Matrix o Constraint #2 Action Matrix o Any Significant FAE Issues/Losses o Develop and maintain the Executive Throughput Package Pro Forma, including all Single Point Lessons and attachments o Maintain & update Productivity Operating Process / Constraint Management web based training for FAE. o Maintain Productivity Operating Process SharePoint website for Final Assembly documentation.

Skills Preferred:

Factory Information System o Evaluate program assumptions and provide FIS cost estimates for new model program cost studies based on latest FIS Specification and Lessons Learned. o New Process Control Board Requirements o Process Control Boards at end of Useful Life o New Tooling Assets o New Conveyor Assets o Rebalance Configurations (assets & PCBs) o Asset Revalidation o Provide IT with intitial estimate of drop counts, asset counts, & server counts o Develop initial SOW for FIS Integrators & FIS Launch Managers with a complete list of assets (tooling & conveyor) and Process Control Boards o Maintain and improve Global FIS Specification o Provide FAE input and signoff of all FIS specification revisions o Maintain and publish specifications for Final Assembly Process Control Boards o Review with Global Regional leads o Review and Incorporate Lessons Learned into Specification o Interface with IT on updates to IT FIS Standards, including PCBs

Experience Required:

• 3 years of experience in Constraint Management and Factory Information Systems.

Education Required:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

Additional Information :

Fully Onsite. Travel - Both, local and out of state, combined 70%.
