Manufacturing Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

Review customer specifications, technical drawings, and other documentation to create accurate cost estimates for new and repeat manufacturing projects. Utilize CAD software (such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD) to manipulate 3D models and 2D drawings to generate manufacturing drawings that can be unfolded to calculate material utilization and manufacturing process times. Utilize company methods and standards for cost models for various manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, welding, painting, and assembly. Analyze material requirements, labor hours, tooling costs, overhead, and other relevant factors to prepare comprehensive and competitive estimates. Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and project cost data. Support the preparation of formal bids and proposals, providing detailed cost breakdowns and technical justification. Help ensure that estimates are completed on time and meet customer expectations, including managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $41.00
