Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to develop and manage manufacturing methods and procedures, ensuring efficient production and continuous improvement. You will be working in a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and development in various industrial markets.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and document best practices and detailed standard work instructions.Assemble, procure, or modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient production methods.Complete time studies to quantify processing times and identify areas for process improvements.Assist with hands-on training of shop floor personnel on new products, tooling, equipment, and process documentation.Promote and support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities across all manufacturing areas.Install and validate equipment and processes in the manufacturing area to improve yield and reduce cycle times.Collaborate with the product development team to optimize designs for manufacturability and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).Validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings for correctness and inclusion of continuous improvements.Apply strong troubleshooting, problem correction, and prevention skills.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, production, or assembly environment.Proficiency in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, and fabrication.Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, troubleshooting, and process implementation.Experience with BOMs and ECOs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, and off-road markets is a plus.Ability to work hands-on with production and wear multiple hats.Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00
