Work closely with project and engineering releases, production planning, and production personnel in developing work order routers and manufacturing documentation to process parts and materials. Select resources to manufacture parts effectively, provide instructions to maximize repeatability, and implement strategies to improve productivity. Provide estimates on material costs, special processing, and labor requirements for new products. • Identify and implement manufacturing process solutions that will assist the department in achieving high quality, cost savings, and shortened lead times. • Influence process standardization, the development of work center capabilities and improving capacities. • Review drawings for manufacturability, verify accuracy, and completeness. • Develop manufacturing routers: The set of detailed work instructions defining the sequence of operations, resources, labor standards, and special instructions required to manufacture a part. • Ensure router standards, operation structure, and BOM are accurate. • Problem-solve technical issues by interfacing with product engineering, SME’s, and production personnel. • Develop and implement work instructions, procedures, and other manufacturing documentation to enhance customer satisfaction and manufacturing performance.
