Manufacturing Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to engage in engineering studies, machine and equipment design, process development, and plant layout optimization for a new automotive project.

Requirements:

BS Degree in Engineering with automotive industry experience.

Experience with engineering studies, machine/equipment/tooling design, and process/assembly development.

Knowledge of database design and development.

Proficiency in manufacturing methods to improve operations and reduce costs.

Familiarity with equipment acquisition and optimizing plant layouts.

Preferred Skills:

Statistical Process Control techniques proficiency.

Ability to analyze data and make fact-based recommendations.

Strong communication skills capable of influencing various levels of personnel.

Microsoft Office Suite expertise.

Statistical Software knowledge (e.g., MiniTab), PPAP understanding is advantageous.

CAD experience is considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive engineering studies and investigations related to manufacturing processes.

Design machinery, equipment, tooling as well as develop assembly processes that enhance manufacturing capabilities.

Develop databases for improved operational tracking and efficiency analysis.

Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance departments to refine manufacturing methods and achieve cost reductions.

Utilize technical skills for practical applications within the manufacturing environment.
