Position Summary:

Join Medeco Security Locks as a Manufacturing Engineer and become a key player in our precision CNC machining environment, dedicated to high-security lock manufacturing. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise and project management skills will shine as you collaborate with various departments to drive innovation and excellence.
What you will be doing:
Process Champion: Lead the charge in refining our precision CNC machining processes, ensuring top-notch performance and quality in high-security lock manufacturing. Equipment Innovator: Spearhead the introduction of cutting-edge CNC machinery, from installation to training our team, ensuring seamless and safe operations. Advanced Technology: You’ll work with state of the art Vision-controlled Robotics systems and use our 3D Printing Lab to proto-type solutions. Continuous Improvement Leader: Drive projects that reduce costs, enhance quality, and improve delivery times, setting new benchmarks for our precision machining operations. Project Steward: Oversee capital projects with a focus on innovation and strategic alignment, contributing to our company's long-term vision. Design and Efficiency Expert: Develop and optimize tools, fixtures, and processes to boost productivity and reduce operational costs in our high-security lock manufacturing environment. Operational Auditor: Assess our current CNC equipment and tooling, recommending updates or replacements to maintain our competitive edge in manufacturing efficiency.
What we are looking for:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or 10 years of related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a precision manufacturing environment. A proven track record in project management, with a reputation for delivering results on time. In-depth knowledge of production principles, with the ability to apply this expertise to enhance precision CNC machining processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for turning challenges into opportunities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software, using these tools to drive efficiency and innovation. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and effectively.
