Johnson Service Group is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering with 3-7 years’ experience working in a PCB manufacturing environment. This is a Direct hire position for an Aerospace company in Chatsworth, CA.
Salary: $70K
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of manufacturing projects related to PCB (Printed Circuit Board) environments. The role focuses on coordinating activities, managing project timelines, resolving engineering challenges, and leading cross-functional teams to drive project success within prescribed contractual requirements, deadlines, and budgets.
Main Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans outlining engineering tasks, deadlines, integration into the manufacturing process, and cost estimates for assigned projects. Product Transition & Support: Oversee the transition of new products into product support, ensuring smooth handover for warranty administration. Cost Analysis & Budgeting: Work with relevant departments (Marketing, Engineering, Testing, Production Control) to research and estimate project costs. Perform financial analysis to support pricing and profitability objectives. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the manufacturing process, with a focus on increasing efficiency and reducing costs. Automated Equipment: Lead the commissioning process for automated equipment, ensuring its successful integration into the manufacturing workflow. Certification & Compliance: Lead the process for customer APSL (Approved Processing Source List) approval/certification, ensuring all compliance and quality standards are met. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred). Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, with a focus on PCB manufacturing. Proven experience in managing engineering projects, ideally in a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), jigs, fixtures, and work orders is highly desirable. Familiarity with product lifecycle management and the transition from development to production. Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet strict deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming engineering challenges.
