Manufacturing Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and optimizing machines and processes to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that enhance manufacturing capabilities. Key Responsibilities: + Machine Setup & Optimization: Configure and set up manufacturing machines and equipment to meet production specifications and maximize efficiency. + Process Development: Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes that improve production flow, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. + Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to drive efficiency, cost savings, and overall performance. + Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, machines, and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. + Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies. + Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of machine setups, process parameters, and standard operating procedures. + Training: Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment to ensure proper usage and maintenance. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. + Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on machine setup and process optimization. + Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. Preferred Skills: + Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. + Familiarity with automation and robotics in manufacturing. + Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $51.59 - $51.59 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
