WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR + + Experience: + + At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on CNC programming, process optimization, and equipment management. + Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in a manufacturing environment. + Strong experience with CNC equipment, G-code, CAM software, and CAD software. + Education: + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. + Certification in CNC programming or manufacturing engineering is preferred. + Skills: + + Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. + Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in programming and process implementation. + Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements. + Familiarity with process flow analysis, time studies, and workflow optimization. + Proficient in using tools like Excel, CAD software, and ERP/MRP systems for process and resource planning. WHAT YOU’LL DO + + Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality. + Utilize Lean methodology to analyze production processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and eliminate non-value-added activities. + Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products and components. + Collaborate with assembly leads to address manufacturing challenges related to tooling, equipment, materials, and processes. + Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. + Prepare detailed reports and summaries on production data, identifying trends and areas for improvement. + Lead continuous improvement projects, focusing on cost reduction and production optimization. + Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations in all manufacturing processes. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: + + This position reports directly to our Manager of Continuous Improvement. + This is a full-time, on-site position located in Richland, MS. + Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. + Local candidates are preferred; relocation assistance is not available.
