**Job Description Summary** **Job Description** **Essential Responsibilities** + Provide technical support to repair technicians, troubleshooting issues related to repair processes and equipment. + Collaborate with quality engineers to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any quality issues identified during the repair process. + Lead and manage projects related to process improvements, new repair techniques, and equipment upgrades. + Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on time. + Create and maintain detailed documentation of repair processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures in accordance to Engine Shop Manuals. + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen events, to drive Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost matrices. + Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in repair technologies and methodologies. ​ **Qualifications/Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. + Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with a focus on gas turbine engine components or combustor repair. + Strong knowledge of repair processes, materials, and equipment used in combustor repair. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and teamwork abilities. + Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. **Desired Characteristics** + Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn​. + Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively​. + Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed. + Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative​. + Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker. **Additional Information** **Relocation Assistance Provided:** No GE Aerospace is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
