Job Description
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring quality, driving innovation, and reducing costs without compromising customer expectations. You will adapt quickly to changing business environments to support company goals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering and experience in designing industrial plants, coordinating quality control activities, and applying engineering techniques to manage industrial production processes.
ResponsibilitiesConsider workflow, layout, and safety measures when designing industrial plants and facilities.Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize costs.Apply engineering techniques to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.Provide engineering support to production, marketing, and quality control departments.Direct processes for new products including materials, equipment, and tooling.Implement cost reduction initiatives and manage capital improvement projects.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, especially for packaging pharmaceutical products.Essential SkillsBachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (Manufacturing, Process, Packaging, or Mechanical).Experience with shipping, distribution logistics, and dimensional tolerance.Proficiency in new product costing and copy control.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and cost-saving techniques.Project management skills.Comfortable with client interfacing.Experience in process improvement, development, and quality control.Understanding of inventory control and supply chain management.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in packaging materials, equipment, products, and distribution.Knowledge of procedural practices in the production environment.Work Environment
You will work in a clean environment with high standards, especially for packaging pharmaceutical products. The role requires adherence to strict industry standards and regulations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68000.00 - $90000.00
