Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methods and tools to enhance efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions, train operators on manufacturing equipment and best practices, and collect and monitor manufacturing process data for analysis. Additionally, you will create and modify machine programs for all automated equipment, as well as implement, maintain, and repair new and existing manufacturing equipment.
ResponsibilitiesImplement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methods and tools.Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.Train operators on manufacturing equipment and best practices.Collect and monitor manufacturing process data in preparation for analysis.Create and modify machine programs for all automated equipment.Implement, maintain, and repair new and existing manufacturing equipment.Essential SkillsExperience in manufacturing engineering.Proficiency in process improvement and SMT equipment.SMT & TH programming and processing skills.Knowledge of process and manufacturing engineering.Ability to program and operate pick & place machines.Familiarity with IPC-A-610 Class II & III standards.Experience with Lead-Free Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole (TH) processes and programming.2+ years of relevant experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.Technical certification preferred.Experience with Panasonic equipment preferred.Work Environment
This position operates on the 1st shift with a flexible start time. The dress code is casual to business casual, with no ripped jeans, graphic t-shirts, and closed-toed shoes required. Our facility is located in Carlsbad and offers a beautiful and friendly work environment. We have a great company culture and provide opportunities for growth within the company. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
Benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.

This is a fully onsite position in Carlsbad,CA.
