Ready to join a team that makes a difference? A little about the position: Job Summary Provide technical support to manufacturing at the plant level under direction of the Plant Manager. This position will support efforts to develop / improve process flows within our operations, the setting of engineering specifications, management control systems, and ultimately the overall quality delivered to our end use customers. Will also provide support on the development of new processes, products and equipment from startup through implementation thought the organization. Key communications will involve interactions with suppliers, production operators, operations management, and other key functional groups as required. Some of What You Will Do: + Provides all necessary technical support to help develop, specify, and improve existing manufacturing processes with a focus on improving quality and cutting cost + Review standard costs for accuracy on key product lines and recommend changes where required + Conduct the required time studies to evaluate our manufacturing processes and make recommendations for changes to our BOM’s to control cost and for process improvements + Sets up and conducts tests of various equipment and products being evaluated by Manufacturing Engineering. Investigate potential design changes for improving equipment or products to enhance performance and quality + Review processes for any and all safety concerns or risk to any employees. Make recommendations to correct the deficiencies + Will take the lead while working with the manufacturing group / Quality in the documentation of approved manufacturing procedures and records in the proper format. May also make recommendations for changes in product or testing methods + Support and coordinate with our maintenance staff on repairs or required upgrades on all manufacturing equipment + Work with internal staff, purchasing and vendors on the design, quoting and procurement of special equipment, jig and fixtures and tooling to support the manufacturing processes as required + Provides the necessary CAD drafting support to develop and maintain all engineering drawings under ME control + What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications) + Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing /Industrial Engineering field or Associate’s degree in Manufacturing/ Industrial Engineering field and 5-10 years industry experience + Five or more years of Manufacturing/Operational experience + Proficient with MS Office -Excel, PowerPoint, Word + 23D CAD experience; Solid Works experience + Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Why should you come work with Us?
