Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and quality-conscious Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be innovative, focused on cost reduction without compromising on customer expectations, and adaptable to rapidly changing business environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our production processes meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
ResponsibilitiesVisualize demanding customer expectations and apply them into design/testing.Find alternative, more effective ways to address challenges and seize opportunities.Reduce COGS without impacting customer expectations.Quickly respond and adapt to changing business environments to support company goals.Consider workflow, layout, and safety measures when designing industrial plants and facilities.Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.Apply engineering techniques to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.Provide engineering support to production, marketing, and quality control departments.Direct processes for new products including materials, equipment, and tooling.Focus on packaging materials, equipment, products, distribution, and procedural practices.Essential SkillsBachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering.Experience in shipping, distribution logistics, and dimensional tolerance.Knowledge of copy control and new product costing.Understanding of the purple sheet process.Expertise in lean manufacturing, cost saving, and project management.Comfortable with client interfacing.Experience in capital improvement including workflow, layout, and safety measures.Proficiency in process improvement, process development, cost reduction, quality control, and inventory control.Additional Skills & QualificationsEngineering Degree in Manufacturing, Process, Packaging, or Mechanical Engineering.Good understanding of supply chain management.Work Environment
The work environment is clean and adheres to high standards, especially since we handle packaging for many pharmaceutical products. Safety and adherence to procedural practices are paramount.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
