Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to assist in executing process improvements and troubleshooting processes to increase production efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will also focus on procurement and installation of new capital equipment and calculate the ROI associated with these purchases. Responsibilities + Execute process improvements to increase production efficiency. + Troubleshoot manufacturing processes to identify and resolve issues. + Procure and install new capital equipment. + Calculate the ROI associated with new equipment purchases. + Focus on tooling and plant layout. + Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. + Collaborate with production staff and other engineers to optimize manufacturing processes. Essential Skills + Lean manufacturing + Mechanics + Capital equipment installation and qualification + Tooling + Process engineering + Industrial engineering + SolidWorks + Six Sigma + 2+ years working in a manufacturing environment Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related field + Adaptable and flexible to work in a fast-paced, frequently changing manufacturing schedule + 6+ months working experience in manufacturing Work Environment Hands-on role working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with spring coiling machines. The team consists of 15-20 production staff and currently includes 1 engineer and the Plant Manager. The company is investing in process improvements and new capital equipment, with the first orders of equipment expected to arrive in November. This role offers the opportunity to develop a broad skill set and take on more responsibilities than typically found in larger companies. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
