Manufacturing Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer who excels at driving process improvements and cost reductions. In this role, you will design and implement processes and equipment to enhance production efficiency. You will collaborate with the engineering department to improve designs for manufacturability and assess the feasibility of new fabrication operations.

Responsibilities:

Learn and understand Epicor and product requirements.Design and implement efficient manufacturing systems.Collaborate with engineering to release or improve products.Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality standards are met.Identify areas for cost reduction while maintaining quality.Communicate effectively with staff and management to implement plans and recommendations.Perform basic mechanical assembly using hand tools and measuring equipment.Conduct studies on lead time reduction, cost control, and inventory control.Define and solve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.Interface with design engineering to incorporate changes that improve designs.Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation solutions, including robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, artificial intelligence, and industrial control systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify automation opportunities, and define project objectives and scopes.Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and documentation of automation solutions to ensure compliance with quality standards.Oversee and develop retrofit/refurbishment projects for existing automation equipment to improve productivity and reliability.Perform vetting analysis for all projects, including financial, operational, and technical analysis.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
