Job Description
We are hiring for two Manufacturing Engineer roles. One position requires 5-10 years of experience, and the other requires approximately 2 years of experience. Both roles involve spending time on the factory floor and working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project deliverables.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for new product introductions and product enhancement programs using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM/DFA, FMEA, 3P, 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology.Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet all project deliverables through a stage-gate process.Guide team members to achieve safety, quality, and delivery targets.Serve as a voice of the customer for new design development.Create clear work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications.Provide technical expertise and leadership for the timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems.Serve as a resource for cause/effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical STEM disciplines.Experience with PFMEA and ranking systems.Hands-on experience in a factory floor environment.Proficiency with CAD models, specifically Creo View.Solid modeling experience.Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels.Strong planning and decision-making skills.Ability to manage complexity and risk.Experience in building effective teams and earning trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in machining, fabrication, welding, electrical systems, assembly processes, or HVAC or heavy industrial manufacturing environments.Mechanical/electrical application aptitude as related to equipment/processes.Leadership skills in guiding team members and serving as a resource for issue containment and problem-solving.Educational and training opportunities through company programs along with tuition assistance and student debt support.Work Environment
This is a full on-site position with no remote opportunities. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, starting between 6:30 am and 7:00 am. The position is initially a year contract with the potential to hire, depending on the lifting of the current hiring freeze. Paid time off is provided, including support for volunteer and parental leave needs. There are educational and training opportunities through company programs.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
