In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to influence product performance, improve processes, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge manufacturing solutions that set industry standards. **Position Overview:** As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, planning, and implementation of manufacturing processes. Your work will directly impact product quality, cost-efficiency, and production timelines. You'll collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure manufacturability, troubleshoot technical problems, and apply your expertise to continuously improve our production processes. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead the development of new products from a manufacturing engineering perspective, driving design for manufacture throughout the development process. + Develop and refine cutting-edge manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. + Identify, plan, and execute capital equipment investments to meet new program needs. + Communicate program status and technical issues to all levels of the company. + Apply your expertise in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering to develop and improve manufacturing processes. + Collaborate with design engineering and configuration control teams to ensure tooling and design meet production requirements. + Work with vendors to determine product specifications, manage material purchases, and evaluate products based on quality standards. + Coordinate and implement technical training for production employees to ensure optimal performance. + Design manufacturing processes, fixtures, and tooling for product changes, enhancements, and new products. + Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, ensuring a smooth and efficient production process. + Lead Kaizen teams, continuously improving processes using lean principles and systems thinking. + Proactively eliminate EHS hazards, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or related field. + 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, design, or New Product Introduction (NPI). + Strong technical skills and the ability to implement new manufacturing processes. + Experience with design of experiments and data analysis techniques. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior leaders, global suppliers, and external customers. + Proactive, results-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience leading process improvement initiatives using Lean principles. + Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. **Why Join Us?** At PDS Tech, we value innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
