Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role involves supporting existing production lines, installations, new launches, and special/capital projects. You will be responsible for executing engineering strategies and new product launches. Your role will also include developing priorities and objectives in cooperation with each site management team and overseeing their implementation, with a focus on continuous improvements throughout the plant.

The role operates on the 1st shift from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility depending on consultant needs. The position requires spending 80% of the time on the floor and 20% in the office. The environment is a dirty, fast-paced automotive setting, and the facility is not temperature controlled. Employees are required to sit or stand for long periods and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The ability to work 40-60 hours per week, including weekends (on a rotation) and holiday work, is essential. Up to 5% domestic and international travel may be required for trainings. The plant is very large, so walking 10K+ steps a day is common. Steel-toed boots are required on the manufacturing floor.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
