Manpower Engineering is working with a successful Twin Cities Pharmaceutical Technology company that is currently hiring for a motivated and results-oriented Manufacturing Engineer (Mixing & Coating) to join their growing team. **Job Summary** : In this critical role, you will play a key part in supporting the commercialization and continuous improvement of innovative pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for leading process design, optimization, and troubleshooting, ensuring efficient and compliant manufacturing operations. **Job Title:** Manufacturing Engineer (Mixing & Coating) **Location: St. Paul, MN** **Pay Range: $110,000-$115,000** **What’s the Job?** + Lead Design Reviews and contribute to activities for the improvement of drug coating products. + Select pumping, mixing, and coating equipment to achieve desired manufacturing process. + Assist and troubleshoot process / equipment issues that occur during commercial operations and product changeovers. + Plan and execute process studies for feasibility, development/characterization (DOEs), capability and qualification tied to changes on commercialized processes. + Through CI activities enhance process conditions that increase quality, yield, or reduce set-up and tear-down activities. + Update specifications, R&D manufacturing instructions, protocols, SOPs, process development reports, etc. used in enhancing existing commercial processes. **What’s Needed?** + Minimum of BS degree in science or engineering. + 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing process improvement / sustainability within the pharmaceutical industry. + Experience with 1 or more of the following: Slot Die, Coma Head, Roll to Roll coating. + Ability to review large amounts of data/information, identify trends, draw conclusions and support a position with text and data. + Proven track record of planning and executing process re-development/ CI projects, and an ability to meet aggressive timelines.
