\t\t\t\t\tThe Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommending and implementing improvements to production processes, methods and controls; and coordinating manufacturing launches for new or revised products.The Engineer works to improve manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency by performing various analysis of production processes and operational procedures including:Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.Assisting with failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause.Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes including estimating production times, staffing requirements, and related costs.Coordinates with R&D concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. He/she analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.When needed the Engineer designs, develops, modifies and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery, fixtures and equipment to ensure efficient production methods and installs and validates equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedure.Assist with hands on training of manufacturing employees on new product lauches, tooling, equipment and process revisions; he/she coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, determining the sequence of the build, optimizing process flow, training staff, troubleshooting and evaluating results.Responsible for completing time studies to quantify processing times and identify areas for process improvements and for developing data measures and standards which increase efficiencies and productivity.

\t\t\t\t\t- 5+ years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer- Mechanical Engineering Degree- Experience working in Medium - High Volume production environment- Understanding and experience with LEAN Manufacturing processes- Solid CAD software experience is required (Solidworks preferred)- Interpersonal Skills is a must. Going to be working one on one in the production facility.-value stream mapping (specific type of lean manufacturing); line balancing and tooling fixtures

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06/hr.
